- Raj Ghat — the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
New Delhi
- Drive past India Gate, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Government Secretariat buildings — photo stops along the ceremonial avenues.
- Humayun’s Tomb — the 16th-century tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun, an important architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal.
- Qutub Minar — the 12th-century minaret, one of Delhi’s most famous monuments.
Early Morning — Taj Mahal: visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning for softer light and more comfortable temperatures — approximately 2–2.5 hours exploring the monument and its gardens. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.
Agra → Fatehpur Sikri (approx. 40 km / 1 hr): visit the former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar — Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal and the Tomb of Salim Chishti.
Fatehpur Sikri → Ranthambore (approx. 230 km / 5–6 hrs): continue the journey towards Ranthambore, arriving in the evening to check in at your wildlife resort.
Local driving: approx. 10–30 km depending on safari zone
Rise early for your first safari in Ranthambore National Park. The morning safari generally offers the best opportunities to observe wildlife when animals are more active. Depending on the safari zone and wildlife movement, you may encounter:
- Bengal tiger, leopard, sloth bear
- Sambar deer, spotted deer, nilgai, wild boar
- Crocodiles and numerous species of birds
Return to the resort for breakfast and relaxation. An optional afternoon safari can be arranged, subject to park opening dates, permits and availability.
Breakfast at the resort, then drive towards Jaipur — the Pink City of Rajasthan, known for its forts, palaces, jewellery, textiles and traditional crafts. Arrive and check in at your hotel.
Depending on arrival time, visit local handicraft shops, Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar or traditional textile shops — or simply relax at the hotel. Optional: a traditional Rajasthani dinner with folk music and cultural performances.
- Amber Fort (approx. 11–13 km from central Jaipur) — one of Rajasthan’s most spectacular hilltop forts; a jeep ride up is generally the more practical option, with elephant rides subject to local regulations and availability.
- Jal Mahal (approx. 6 km from Amber Fort) — the palace appearing to float in the middle of Man Sagar Lake; a photo stop from the lakeside.
- City Palace (approx. 5–7 km) — still associated with Jaipur’s former royal family; courtyards, museums and royal residences.
- Jantar Mantar — the astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
- Hawa Mahal — the Palace of Winds, its five-storey façade one of Jaipur’s most recognisable landmarks.
End the day with free time for shopping — hand-block printed textiles, jewellery, blue pottery, handicrafts, carpets and traditional Rajasthani clothing are among the popular purchases.
After breakfast, check out and begin the drive to Delhi by private air-conditioned vehicle. Depending on your international flight departure time, the journey is planned to allow sufficient time for airport check-in and security procedures. Arrive at Delhi International Airport and proceed for your onward flight.
